1992 - Barcelona

Born in Stowmarket, she worked at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. Sally achieved a personal best of 2:29:29 when coming first in the California International Marathon in 1991.

The next year she went to the Olympics in Barcelona, achieving 13th place in the marathon as the conditions did not suit her as well as California. Today she is an honorary member of her former club, the St Edmunds Pacers. Sally promotes health within her local community.
